General information
The term Herbaceous describes annual and perennial herbal plants. Generally these are plants which live some years until the whole plant dies. Annual plants will bloom in spring and summer. The generative plant dies to the end of the season. The plant survives during the winter season in the soil until it grows again when the spring comes. The cycle of perennials is mostly longer. Blossoms and fruits are first formed when the plant is two or more years old. The main usage of Herbaceous is as bedding and balcony plants. Important is the correct choice of the location depending on the conditions the plant needs.
